Description
SP Supplies Etch Primer, is a fast drying light grey self etching primer with high filling power and protection against corrosion.
Adheres to Iron, Zinc, Steel, Aluminium and most recoatable plastics. Ideal for a quick repair on cars, commercial vehicles and many other industries.
Can be overcoated with 1 K, 2K or Waterbased paints.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Shake can for at least two minutes before use.
Prepare the area to be painted, ensuring it to be free from dirt, wax, oil etc. Lightly abrade the surface.
Mask off with masking paper and masking tape to prevent any overspray.
Use between 15 to 25 degrees C in a well ventilated area.
Repeat shaking at regular intervals to ensure the paint is thoroughly mixed/agitated.
Spray from a distance of 20cm to 25cm.
Apply several light coats with up to 10 minutes between coats to achieve the best result.
The number of coats required depends on the colour being over painted.
Sandable after approximately 2 hours at 20 degrees C
After use, invert can and spray to clear the valve and sprayhead, this prevents the aerosol from clogging up prior to using next time.
If sprayhead should clog, remove and clean with solvent.
