PainTeX’s UV Chip Repair kit comprises of :
- 51 LED UV Curing Torch (with batteries)
- 100ml High Quality UV Clear Coat
- x100 Touch-up Applicators
- De-Nibbing Block
- Hand Held Carry Case
This is the all in one kit if you get the occasional silicone or your looking to fill stone chips.
The 51 led UV curing torch has the wavelength and power output to cure not only our UV clear coat but also UV primers and putties.
Although our UV torch will cure UV primers we recommend that repair area should be no larger than 8” x 8” for example: the size of your hand or a standard sprayout card. Our UV torch will cure this area in 5 mins (if the TDS for your desired primer is followed correctly) Parameters outside of this will take longer.
Always check the primer has a hard smooth feel to it, a rubbery tacky texture will need further UV exposure.
